EXPLAIN WHY THE BOOK OF DANIEL IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW with Chamcham Marak

The book of Daniel tells us more about Jesus than any other book in the Old Testament ( In fact you can see Jesus in every Chapter of this book). Negid is used for prince and this Negid is going to be sacrifice in Daniel 11:20. Chapter 2 stone kingdom is Jesus Kindom, Chapter 6 Jesus was the one who shut the mouth of the Lion. In Chapter 3 Jesus is the one who appear in the fire.

2. Only this book tells us the exact year in which Jesus would die. The seventy weeks prophecy (9:24-27).

3. Because it tells us God gave Jerusalem into the hands of King Nebuchadnezzar. They defile the Sabbath and ( Jer 17:24-27; Jer 2:27). They worship idols (Jer 7:18). They offer to the Queen of Ester. The whole family is involved in idol worship. These are two major sins why God gave them to the hands of the Babylonians.

4. God can used enemy to show favor in the people of God. Nebuchadnezzar show favor to Daniel and his friends. A) He give them his food. B) All others are working hard but Daniel and his three friends are studying with the higher education's system in Babylon.

5. God can change the mind of someone who refuses to help you. Melzar was the manager of the food and he was helping Daniel to give vegetarian food. The same man who refuses to help him at first later on he helped him.

6. This book tells us the blessings of a vegetarian diet. ( Dan 1:8-10; 1:20), when they ate the vegetarian diet they were ten times better than the others. This was the blessings of vegetarian food.

7. The best magicians, astrologers, sorcerers or wise men of Babylon did not know the dream and accept that they did not know the future ( 1:1-12), only God revealed the future.

8. This book has a history of the whole world from the tie of Babylon to the establishment of the kindom of Christ after millennium 3600 years of history.

9. God can deliver his faithful people from death, fire or Lions (Dan 3)

10. This book has the testimony of the King Nebuchadnezzar in Chapter 4 was written by him.

11. People who have pride knowing the truth will surely be punished by God. Chapter 4:13.

12. Those people who were converted and repent, God will surely bless that person.

13. This book tella us that those who misused Gods property i.e. Things, money, etc. They will not escape the punishment of God. Belshazzar misused the golden vessels of the Lord.

14. The peolpe who are drinking alcohol will die immature death. Belshazzar king was the only 36 years old. Only in this book God's anger shown upon him.

15. The honesty of Daniel 6:4 all of his enemies look for all small weakness in Daniel but they cannot find (anything) any fault on him. We need to be honest with little things.

16. God delivered Daniel from the Lion's den. 6:21,22 Dan 6:10 Daniel lived a prayerful life and God protects him.

17. Only in this book we were told about the change of the Sabbath to Sunday.

18. Only in this book we were told about the heavenly court judgment or ore-advent judgment 7:9-10. Jesus was brought into the judgment by the angels 7:13 Mrs Ellen White tells us in EW p. 53-55.

19. Jesus was brought to the judgment by the heavenly chariot. 1 John 2:1 We have an advocate of the Father.

20. Kingdom were given to the Saints and they rule 7:26-27.

21. Satan and the beast (Papacy) they will be destroyed in the fire 7:11. Also called eradication of sins.

22. Key chapter in the book of Daniel is chapter 7 because it covers from the time of Babylon up to the time when the kingdom is given to the saints. Approximately 3500 years of history is covered in this chapter.

23. Chapter 8:1-14 is the heavenly sanctuary vision.

24. How the sanctuary truth was suppressed by the papacy 8:10-13.

25. The longest time prophecy in the Bible ( 2300 days orophecy). "Nisdaq" is the term for one time cleansing of the sanctuary (8:14). Is only one time in the whole world in the whole Bible.

26. More time prophecies are found in this book than any other books in the Bible. 7:25; 8:14; 9:24,27, 1290 Days Prophecies (12:10-11), 1335 days prophecies 12:10-11.

27. The name Gabriel is first used in Daniel. In fact it has two places mention 8:16; 9:21-23; 10:11,18.

28. This book tells us about King Alexander the Great through the name was not used but the description was given. The he-goat (Greece) Horn between the eyes is Alexander 8:20-21; 11:4-5. This kingdom was foretold that his throne was not given to his family.

30. In this book, reasons were given why Jerusalem was destroyed 9:5-18.

31. The 70 weeks prophecy in which the exact year in which Jesus would be crucified. In which year the Messiah will be cut off, the heart of 70 week prophecy is the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

32. King Cyrus is mentioned by names as fulfillment of Prophet Isaiah ( Isaiah 45:1-4) and ( Dan 1:21; 10:1-2).

33. Fasting and prayer for 21 days by Daniel.

34. We learn in this book that our prayers can be delayed by Satan in controlling the mind of a person for a short time. Daniel prayed 21 days but he cannot get answer directly.

35. This book tells us about the important aspects about Julius Caesar and Cleopatra (Illegal relationship) Daniel 11:16-18.

36. This book talks about the birth of Jesus, (The raiser of taxes) Joseph and Mary came all the way to Nazareth. This was done by the raises of Taxes 11:19-20 and Luke is quoting this one.

37. This book talks about Orince of the covenant 11:22, Hebrew word used here id ( Nagid) the earthly prince.

38. In this book it tells about the role of the Papacy in the closing events of this earthly history 11:31-40.

39. This book also tells the history of the world in an outline form from the time of Cyrus up to the time of the Second Coming of Jesus. But it doesn't mention all but only major events are mentioned in this book such as like an outline form.

40. Michael is mentioned in this book. Two place is mention 10:21; 12:1.

41. This book tells us about the special resurrection 12:2.

42. This book tells us that those who turn people to God will shine throughout the eternity like a stars.

43. Knowledge shall be increase 12:4. Knowledge of this prophecies of Daniel shall increase, or another words people will serach about the knaowledge of prophecies.

44. Only in this book the assurance is given to Daniel about resurrection and nobody in the Bible is get this asurrence 12:13.

45. Jesus give the Explanation about two heavenly beings Daniel 12:5-7 in Tigris.

46. These words are to be seen until the time of the end Daniel 12:9.

47. Only the wise shall understand but the wicked cannot understand. People can be purified by the cleansing through the blood of Jesus Christ 12:10.

48. Blessed are those who come to the 1335 Prophecy ( It will take you up to 1844 fro 508 A.D when King Clovis was converted to Catholic faith to 1844 investigative judgment). They started preaching the entire Three Angel Message by 1844, Rev 14:13 and Dan 12:12.

49. Daniel was assured for a resurraction.

50. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
