Jeremiah 31-40 | Christian teachings for the CHURCH of Jesus Christ, Lord and King. Behold, the days are coming, saith the LORD, where I will make with the house of Israel and the house of Judah a new covenant, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers, the day that I seize them by the hand. To bring them out of the land of Egypt, whom they have raped, though I am their master, saith Jehovah. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their heart; And I will be their God, and they will be my people. He will not teach his neighbor, nor his brother, saying, "Know the LORD! For all shall know me, from the least to the greatest, saith Jehovah; For I will forgive their iniquity, And I will not remember their sin. Thus saith Jehovah, who made the sun to brighten the day, Who hath destined the moon and the stars to light the night, and lifts up the sea, and humbles its waters, whose name is Jehovah of hosts: If these laws come to an end before me, says the Lord, The race of Israel will also cease forever to be a nation before me. Thus saith Jehovah: If the heavens above may be measured, if the foundations of the earth below may be sounded, then shall I turn away all the seed of Israel, because of all that they have done, saith the 'Eternal. Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, where the city will be rebuilt to the honor of the Lord, from the tower of Hananel to the door of the corner. The line will extend again opposite, To the hill of Gareb, And will make a circuit on the side of Goath. The whole valley of corpses and ashes, and all the fields unto the brook Kidron, to the corner of the gate of the horses eastward, shall be consecrated unto the LORD, and shall be for ever neither reversed nor destroyed.
